User manual: Starting the watch: To start the watch, turn the knob up about 10 turns (or until you feel a slight resistance), then shake the watch. NOTE: Turning the knob down in the depressed position (watch operation) will damage the spring in the mechanism. Also, do not turn the knob more than 20 times. Damage may also occur in this case. Time setting: Pull the knob clockwise to the hour setting position. To set the hour, turn the knob down (opposite to winding), i.e. clockwise. To ensure the continuous operation of a mechanical watch with tension, it should be worn all the time (to make it move), although it may still be necessary to wind the spring according to the instructions in the section "Starting the watch".
